Staff Software Engineer @ Rithum | MSc @ UOC | Mentor
I am excited to share that I have successfully defended my bachelor's thesis on the real-time clustering of sequences using an extension of the k-medoids algorithm called SeqClu-PV, which has been awarded a 9.5 out of 10 with which I graduated cum laude! The research project has been a tremendously valuable and educational experience that has allowed me to use my curiosity and thoroughness to develop a more efficient variant of an algorithm that can be used to detect malicious internet traffic, among other things. I want to thank everyone who has supported me throughout the process, mainly my supervisors Azqa Nadeem and Dr.ir. Sicco Verwer for their excellent supervision and guidance on a more personal level involving time management and both physical and mental health, and my group members, Rami Al-Obaidi and Silviu Fucarev, for their valuable feedback and discussions. I am looking forward to taking the next step in my career with a new position as a full-stack software engineer at isolutions based in Barcelona, which will hopefully enable me to further develop myself as a software engineer and provide high-quality software to people all across the world.
