On Sunday, RSL NSW teamed up with the Newcastle Knights as the charity partner for their ANZAC Round clash against the Penrith Panthers, running the 50-50 raffle at McDonald Jones Stadium. A 50-50 raffle sees classic raffle tickets sold to create a cash prize pool, which is then split equally between one lucky winner and the charity partner, helping raise vital funds to support veterans and their families in NSW. Thanks to the generosity of Knights fans and the efforts of volunteers, including from six RSL NSW sub-Branches, the total prize pool reached $32,399, the largest amount raised by a single charity with the Knights 50-50 raffle, 40% of the total donated to RSL NSW. Special thanks to our Community Relations Partner, Jye Martyn, for his work on this ANZAC Round charity partnership with the Knights. We look forward to building on this relationship and creating more opportunities to support the veteran community together.
