RSL NSW congratulates all recipients of the 2026 Anzac Peace Prize and Anzac of the Year Awards - recognising Australians whose service, leadership and compassion make a meaningful difference. The Anzac Peace Prize honours an Australian who has promoted international understanding and contributed to world peace, while the Anzac of the Year Awards recognise up to seven Australians who have served their communities in a positive, selfless and compassionate way. We are especially proud to celebrate NSW Anzac of the Year recipients Angela McCann OAM and Patsy Edwards OAM. Angela has devoted more than 20 years to the Coolamon veteran community, championing advocacy and honouring service through the arts. Patsy’s contribution spans more than 50 years of military and voluntary service, with a legacy in commemorations and veteran welfare that continues to shape her community. Their service reflects the enduring ANZAC spirit, seen in communities across Australia. Please join us in congratulating all recipients.
