“A small seed can yield a mighty harvest.” From an ambitious seed of an idea planted in 2024 by Her Majesty Olori Atuwase III, the Olori Atuwase III Love Garden has grown into a vibrant, high-yield initiative that is empowering the Warri Kingdom. In just over a year, this agri-tech initiative has transformed lives. We’ve seen one initial garden blossom into 8, and the growth isn’t stopping anytime soon. We are excited to announce that we are about to launch our next garden at Aldertown! Stay tuned as we expand our roots. With our sights firmly set on launching 10 new gardens by the end of 2026, this project continues to serve as a living classroom, teaching crucial lessons: • Combatting Food Insecurity: With over 1,050.50 kg of nutritious crops harvested, including cucumbers, tomatoes, and watermelon, we are tackling malnutrition head-on. • Empowering the Future: The project targets over 2,000 primary students (ages 5–12) from low-income families in Warri South, equipping them with essential agricultural knowledge. • Sustainable Living: By understanding the seed-to-harvest process and the importance of agriculture, our students are learning to “grow what they eat.” Our journey from 1 to 8 gardens, from a single plot in Iyara to a multi-garden community movement. This is the power of community, innovation, and dedicated leadership. The future is ripe with potential. Let’s grow together!
