Reminder: Nowlan Digitisation Grant scheme open until 15 April 2026! Applications are invited for the Nowlan Digitisation Grants, offering up to €10,000 to support the digitisation of historical and archaeological sources, or the updating of existing digital resources to ensure continued public access. Established in 2020 through a bequest from Kevin B. Nowlan, the scheme is administered by the Royal Irish Academy (RIA). Applicants are invited to submit proposals for well defined projects to be hosted on an institutional website, deposited in the Digital Repository of Ireland (DRI) and completed within the grant timeline.
