At the Ireland-Wales Forum, First Minister of Wales Rhun ap Iorwerth announced a new Wales-Ireland Early Career Researcher Mobility Scheme, delivered by the Learned Society of Wales and complementing the Royal Irish Academy’s Ireland-Wales strand of the Charlemont Grants scheme. Alongside the renewal of Irish Government support for the Charlemont Grants scheme, this initiative will create new opportunities for early-career researchers to build collaborations, expand networks and develop lasting partnerships across both nations.
