This week we launched Heart, art and à la carte – a unique collection of recipes, showing how food can unite a community to celebrate the comfort, nourishment and joy of eating. Patients, chefs, staff and some of South Kensington’s most iconic institutions have collaborated to create Heart, art and à la carte. It features 21 assorted recipes from the likes of South Ken Culture Quarter members, our chief executive, and former patient and chef Rick Stein. Vibrantly illustrated by University of Westminster students and one of our own cardiorespiratory dietitians, every page is a reminder that food is more than fuel. This collection is dedicated to our patients, and anyone, who lives with health conditions that make eating a challenge. We hope it sparks curiosity and tempts tastebuds.
