The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) acknowledges with sadness the passing of former Victorian Health Minister and long-time health sector leader, the Hon. Rob Knowles AO. Mr Knowles made a significant contribution to RACS and to the broader Australian health system over many years. He chaired the College’s Expert Advisory Group on discrimination, bullying and sexual harassment in 2015, helping lead an important period of reflection, accountability and cultural change for the surgical profession. Mr Knowles also served on RACS Council.
