"Navigating Global Disruptions: A Case Study on Sabah Ports Operational Resilience and Supply Chain Adaptability" Youtube video link : https://lnkd.in/gPNVDHaX I recently had the privilege of leading my team on an educational site visit to Sabah Ports, providing us with firsthand exposure to the operational realities of one of East Malaysia’s major port operators. We explored critical functions, including cargo handling, port management, and the coordination of supply chain activities that facilitate regional and global trade . Through this experience, we gained practical insights into the complexities of maritime transportation and the strategic importance of port infrastructure in driving economic development. Key performance data such as the impressive 29 million tonnes of cargo throughput handled in 2025 underscored the vital role these facilities play in the national logistics network. This visit was an valuable opportunity to connect theoretical knowledge with industrial practice with offering a deeper understanding of the logistics management landscape and how it supports international trade efficiency. Also, I as a leader of the team would like express my deepest congratulations and special thanks to the team members for their efforts and commitment throughout this journey.
