Each season, we bring around 5,000 students to our theatre. Some sit in a free performance right beside you, some attend our summer camps, many go on to pursue careers in the arts. Through our FREE Student Matinee Program, students from DC, Maryland and Virginia attend our shows during the school day for FREE. Teachers receive educational resources in advance to prepare their classes, and students get the chance to ask questions during our post-show talkbacks. For many, it’s their very first time in a theatre. For some, it changes the trajectory of their lives. It is thanks to our generous donors that this is possible.
