Don’t miss Dr. Zunairah Shah’s presentation on oral abstract 1303 at AACR 2026 Annual Meeting in San Diego! “Clinical trials tell us how a drug works under ideal conditions, but real-world data show how it performs in everyday patients,” explains Dr. Shah. “Trastuzumab deruxtecan is an antibody-drug conjugate that delivers targeted chemotherapy directly to HER2-positive cancer cells. In this study, it was associated with improved long-term survival compared with standard chemotherapy, along with a lower risk of death and a manageable safety profile. These findings suggest it may offer a meaningful benefit for patients with HER2-positive metastatic colorectal cancer, improving outcomes in this aggressive disease.” 📍 Room 17 – Mezzanine Level 🗓 Sunday, April 19 ⏰ 3:35–3:50 p.m. Dr. Shah will present as co-first author, alongside co-senior authors Dr. Sheheryar Kabraji and Dr. Kannan Thanikachalam.
