Yeperenye Dreaming artist Wenten Rubuntja Tjabanati AM Arrente Anmatyerre Language group Leader of the Central Australian Aboriginal people Painting tells the story of the Yeperenye caterpillar beings in the Dreamtime creating the McDonnell Ranges surrounding Central Australia. As they travelled they formed the ranges and sacred sites for Ceremonies. Circles represent sacred sites where boys of the Arrente language group are initiated to this day, connecting lines relate to the McDonnell Ranges. Background colours depict the desert landscape of Central Australia.
