Exactly 10 days ago, CMU SWE hosted our annual CIT Ball at the Omni William Penn Hotel. CIT stands for Carnegie Institute of Technology, CMU’s engineering school and CIT Ball is an opportunity for CIT students (and friends) to relax, kick back, and enjoy a fun, elaborate formal night surrounded by fellow engineers. We had over 200 people in attendance and the night was complete with a 3-course dinner, performances, and a DJ-ed dance floor section. I’d like to show my appreciation to my fellow SWE Section Events Co-Chair, Elly Zheng, for planning and organizing this event with me over the past couple of months. I’d also like to thank the rest of the CMU Society of Women Engineers executive team for all the help with the logistics of making this night happen! Until next year! :)
