🚀 Today is International Women in Engineering Day! Each year, this event highlights women driven by innovation and continuous improvement and emphasizes the importance of encouraging greater diversity in engineering fields. For this occasion, we asked two engineers in pharma and cosmetics to share their experiences, thoughts and pieces of advice:   Anne Smith, Small Projects Engineering Manager: 🗨️ "My advice would be not to focus on fitting a particular mold of what you think an engineer is supposed to be. Early in my career I thought that success would come primarily from technical expertise. What I’ve learned over time is that the most valuable skills in engineering are communication, collaboration, and the ability to bring people together to solve problems. Stay curious, ask questions and don’t be afraid to take on challenges before you feel completely ready. Growth often happens when you are a little uncomfortable."  Véronique Guyot-Ferréol, Head of Cosmetic Laboratory Applications: 🗨️ "My journey is a continuous learning adventure. As a chemical engineer with a PhD in process engineering, I have always followed the thread of innovation, driven by curiosity and impact. Shaped by inspiring mentors, I believe innovation thrives on diversity and collective strength. So trust your voice, stay curious, and dare to take your place." 🌟 Let's continue to champion diversity and gender equality by empowering more women to pursue and lead the challenges of tomorrow.
