Marks Barfield Architects partnered with Roofglaze to deliver the UK’s first green mosque — with daylight at the heart of the design. Cambridge Mosque features 63 bespoke fixed flat glass rooflights, delivering nearly 300m² of natural light across the building. Each unit was specified to be single-pane to keep views clean and uninterrupted, with project-specific Class 1 Non‑Fragile (CWCT) testing undertaken to meet the brief.
