What a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the growth and potential of #Argentina, one of the world's great destinations and most intriguing markets. American Airlines’ long relationship and deep commitment to Argentina means there is always much to celebrate even as we work to strengthen communication and build predictable frameworks for cooperation. What I appreciate most is seeing old friends like Oscar Villabona, Administración Nacional de Aviación Civil (ANAC), Heidi Gomez, Deputy Chief of Mission and the indefatigable Andrew Dilts at the U.S. Embassy, while making new ones at Navigacion Area Argentina (EANA), and Policía de Seguridad Aeroportuaria (PSA). As my colleagues at Airlines for America will attest, spending valuable time together makes the future possible. Thank you to Federico Sturzenegger, Minister of Deregulation and State Transformation, for an insightful discussion on ongoing reforms that span Argentina's economy and government, with change being measured in real time with competing piles of paper. Given the energized words from Secretary of Tourism Daniel Scioli, I only wish I had more time to spend in Buenos Aires! So much more to see and do.
