🎆 Last month I completed my 1st year at Databricks! 📚 I think I’ve never had learned, grown and developed so much, as I did in this first year, in my entire career… It has been an absolutely incredible journey, and I would like to take advantage of this important milestone to make some thank you notes. 💻 To my onboarding partners that made my beginning the best onboarding experience that I could ever imagine: Jasper van den Heuvel, Masoud Panshiri, Beatriz Bezerra, Natalia Peres, Fabio Gerosa, Adrian Bolosan, Glenn McNairy, Chad Koo, Jin Yang 杨金 and so many others. We worked pretty hard that week, but we also had a lot of fun… 🙋🏻‍♂️ You know what is the best part of working at Databricks? I’ll tell you: the incredible-talented people. It doesn’t matter what you need, when or how you need it, somebody will raise the hand to help you and I was lucky enough to have some great mentors in this ride: Daniel Vallilo, Gian Carlo Italiano, Guilherme Sepe, Rafael Giusepin Valle, Alex Pleszko and so many others that I can’t count. 🏛️ To PubSec leadership team and team-mates: Thiago Silveira, Marcio Arbex, Victor Cruz, thank you for the vote of confidence a year ago. Gleydson Ariani, Renan Valente, Rosanna Aguilar, Jessyca Oliveira, Luiz C., Tharsis Novais, Ana Caroline Sanchez Silva, Gabriel Rangel, the challenge is really hard, but working with you guys makes it feasible. I’m always learning something new every single day with you. 📈 To my partner in crime, the best Solution Architect that I could ever ask for: Giuliano Cardoso (Giulic). It’s truly a pleasure to work side-by-side in the trenches with one of my best friends. Thank you for your hard work and dedication towards our mutual goals. ❤️ To the love of my life: Heloisa Siqueira. Thank you for supporting our family during so many work trips in the last year; without your partnership, none of this could be possible.
