Our MT30 engines will power Australia’s new upgraded Mogami-class frigates. Australia selected Japan’s upgraded Mogami-class frigates last year, which our MT30 marine gas turbine engines already power. The new frigates will help to enhance the Australian Navy’s undersea warfare and air defence capabilities, with the first due to be delivered in 2029 and operational by 2030, with power from our engines. We are pleased to continue our long-standing partnership with Australia, having delivered power and propulsion to Australia for land, sea and air for over 100 years.
