Ethiopian Airlines has grown into one of the world’s most connected airlines, playing a leading role in linking the world to Africa, and attracting tourism, trade and economic growth to Ethiopia. In 2016, that journey took a significant step forward with its first Airbus A350-900, powered by the Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-84. Today, with more than a million hours flying with the Trent XWB, Ethiopian Airlines continues to lead as Africa’s first Trent XWB-97 operator on its new Airbus A350-1000.
