International Experiences That Leave a Lasting Impact: As part of the “AusbildungWeltweit” support program run by the Bundesministerium für Bildung, Familie, Senioren, Frauen und Jugend (Federal Ministry of Education, Family, Senior Citizens, Women, and Youth) our trainees Paul, Ben, Eliano, and Gabriel had the opportunity to spend five weeks at our facility in Aiken, South Carolina (USA). There, they gained valuable insights into international work processes and gained hands-on experience in assembly, manufacturing, testing, and repair. Working in various departments allowed them to expand their technical knowledge, gain new perspectives, and develop their skills in a targeted manner. In addition to the professional experience, the stay also offered the opportunity to experience American culture and daily life firsthand. Such international experiences not only foster personal development but also strengthen an understanding of global collaboration and different ways of working. We are pleased to be able to provide our trainees with this valuable international experience and thank the BMBFSFJ for its long-standing support, which makes such projects possible in the first place.
