🌍 Brazil ranks 11th in the world today. Our analysis suggests it could reach 5th by 2050. That would place Brazil ahead of Japan, the United Kingdom, and France, with a GDP of USD 6.0 trillion, competing directly with Germany for fourth position. Only the United States, China, and India would rank higher. 📊 This outcome does not depend on luck or geography. Our Brazil Vision 2050 study indicates it requires a defined set of structural choices: reforms that unlock productivity, policies that reduce the cost of capital, and the strategic capture of opportunities in agribusiness, energy, and critical minerals. The shift of economic power toward emerging markets is one of the defining geostrategic forces reshaping the global order. Brazil's positioning within that shift, and its resilience as a future major economy, will be determined by decisions made in the next decade. The base case, by contrast, leaves Brazil at 10th place with a GDP of USD 3.3 trillion. A meaningful difference in global influence, institutional voice, and strategic weight. 👉 Download the full Brazil Vision 2050 report here: https://lnkd.in/ebvrFTWN 💾 Save this post for later. #RolandBerger Pedro Pacheco Guimaraes, William B Jones Jr.
