An interesting article below from PA colleagues on how devolution can help drive regional growth across England. Many of the same themes are already emerging here in Northern Ireland. Over the last decade, we've invested significantly in the foundations of innovation and increasingly mission-led approaches combined with world-class research. These all point to a region building genuine capability in the innovation space. The challenge now is about translating that capability into sustained economic growth. How do we accelerate commercialisation? How do we increase the adoption of innovation across existing organisations? How do we attract more private investment? And how do we turn world-class research into productivity and good jobs? Those conversations are already happening across government, industry and academia. The opportunity now is to keep that momentum going and focus relentlessly on turning capability into tangible economic outcomes for NI plc. https://lnkd.in/eTgW7tBu Danny Hillen Elaine Lee Pierce McDaid Karen Duffy Michael McNichollStephen Smyth Samantha BrazendaleStephanie DrayneRick HunterColin CampbellSiofra FrostMichael McClellandKerry Kennedy
