🚨 How Zscaler Digital Experience (ZDX) detected the Claude AI outage 🚨 ZDX flagged a sustained service disruption impacting Claude (claude.ai), helping teams quickly confirm it wasn’t an internal network issue and accelerate vendor triage. What ZDX saw (from several monitoring locations): From 11:27 AM ET 2/27 through 10:47 AM ET 3/02, ZDX showed a continuous outage/degradation window, with recovery starting at 10:47 AM ET 3/02 (availability turning back to green). 🛠️ The highlights: Availability impact: ZDX recorded major availability degradation during the incident window. Actionable HTTP signals: ZDX surfaced web transaction failures and status-code issues, including: https://claude.ai/ returning 307 https://claude.ai/login returning 403 Error detail: “HTTP Code is not within the HTTP Response code range” The request is being redirected first (307) and then the redirected request is being explicitly denied (403).
