As Sonam Wangchuk's hunger strike crosses the 18-day mark at Jantar Mantar, the silence from the administration is becoming harder and harder to ignore. Irrespective of what the demands are or whether they are met, the least the government could do is listen to him. Is the government really so disconnected? When a respected reformer is losing muscle mass on the pavement simply to ask for an open conversation about the country's education system, ignoring him feels like a serious failure of basic empathy. Agreeing with every policy or demand isn't the point. But refusing to even sit down and listen to a citizen risking their life sets a dangerous precedent for public discourse. We need leadership that LISTENS. #SonamWangchuk #Leadership #EducationReform #Governance #NEETUG
