The tools I used when starting as an SDR were actually very simple. • Google → company & industry research • LinkedIn → prospecting & stakeholder research • SalesQL → finding contact information • ChatGPT → brainstorming outreach ideas • WhatsApp → prospecting outreach • Spreadsheets → simple pipeline CRM No fancy setup at the beginning. What mattered more was learning how to research properly, understand the ICP, and build relevant outreach step by step. Along the process, I also started learning some more tools that support SDR workflows: • Apollo → prospecting, lead database, and outreach automation • Clay → lead enrichment & personalized prospect research • HubSpot CRM → pipeline tracking, contact management, and follow-up organization And I’m still exploring many other tools to continuously improve how I work as an SDR.
