🇬🇭 Successful Participation in the Private Sector Mission to Ghana & WACEE 2025 This week, we had the privilege of taking part in the Private Sector Mission to Ghana, organized by UNIDO ITPO Germany alongside participation in the West African Clean Energy & Environment Conference & Trade Fair (WACEE 2025) in Accra. The mission offered valuable insights into Ghana’s dynamic and rapidly developing industrial landscape. Key themes included: The strong national commitment toward electromobility, Emerging initiatives for end-of-life vehicle treatment, The country’s growing focus on circular economy solutions, And numerous opportunities in clean energy, waste, and water sectors. We also visited high-impact industrial facilities, including the Mohinani Group’s PET bottle-to-bottle recycling plant and Accra Compost and Recycling Plant Limited recycling facility, both demonstrating the scale and ambition of Ghana’s sustainability efforts. Engaging B2B meetings with industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators further highlighted the potential for productive collaboration between West Africa and Europe. We extend our sincere appreciation to UNIDO ITPO Germany, Agentur für Wirtschaft und Entwicklung, and Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Ghana (AHK Ghana) for their outstanding organization and support throughout the mission.
