Rockhurst University President Sandra Cassady, Ph.D., joined fellow Jesuit college and university presidents from the U.S., Canada, and Belize for a historic meeting with Pope Leo XIV at the Vatican. Pope Leo encouraged Jesuit institutions to continue forming leaders committed to human dignity, the common good, and addressing today's most pressing global challenges, especially as they pertain to the youth. Dr. Cassady also had the opportunity to speak with the Holy Father one-on-one, asking for his blessing on Rockhurst's collaborations with Jesuit apostolates and reflecting on the University's mission of education, service, and the pursuit of truth.
