Historically, the retina has been one of the most difficult organs to reach. This makes delivering treatments highly challenging, often forcing researchers to rely on slow, macro-structural changes to measure if a new therapy is working. Today, advancements in non-invasive retinal imaging are transforming this baseline. By allowing us to see the back of the eye directly at a cellular level, these technologies allow us to map these cellular changes in real time, accelerating early-stage in vivo validation for clinical studies/trials and building a more predictive data architecture for our pipelines.
