An average of 82 days. That is how long a breast cancer patient in Ghana historically waits from her initial screening entry to her first treatment session. This represents 82 days of critical visibility gaps. Through the Africa Breast Cancer Ambition (ABCA), Roche is working with partners to change this reality. Our goal is to enable 80% of women in Africa to survive breast cancer at five years by 2030. To turn this ambition into practical action, a new digital health initiative is deploying the RedPath mobile application across national tertiary hospitals. By equipping nurse navigators with this digital infrastructure, institutions like Cape Coast Teaching Hospital are mapping clinical delays in real time. This allows teams to adjust workflows and directly compress patient waiting times. We are replacing operational bottlenecks with scalable insights to systematically improve oncology access.
