A friend of mine has a son who just finished HVAC training and is looking for a job. I remembered we once did a bunch of resumes for an HVAC company. Not hiring… but building out executive resumes so they could win large commercial contracts. So I tracked down the owner on LinkedIn and sent him a message. A woman replied. “Joe is no longer with us.” I immediately sent my condolences. She writes back.... “LOL. I probably shouldn’t have said it like that. Joe retired to Boca. I’ll be joining him at the end of the year. The kids are taking over. Send the kid over.” (It was Joe's wife). Joe. Alive. Just… aggressively golfing. 🤣🤣🤣 So anyway, quick housekeeping note....
