Within our Applied Signal Processing Laboratory course at Politecnico di Torino, we had the pleasure of welcoming back Diego ALBERTO, Ph.D., a former brilliant Ph.D. student from our group, who is now bringing his research background and technical expertise into advanced R&D activities at Schneider Electric. Diego delivered a highly appreciated technical presentation on "DSP for Medium Voltage Applications". He also shared insights into his professional experience at Schneider Electric and presented career opportunities at the company, which attracted strong interest from the students. It is always a great pleasure and honour to welcome back former students and colleagues, and to see how strong academic and professional connections continue to grow over time. Many thanks to Diego for his time, his inspiring contribution, and for keeping a strong connection with our academic community. We were also honoured to have Prof. Marina Mondin as a special guest for Diego's talk. For many years, she was one of the pillars of the Communications Eng. @PoliTO degree programme and a professor greatly appreciated by generations of students. She is now Full Professor at California State University, Los Angeles. Politecnico di Torino has excellent relations with Cal State LA, and every year our students have the opportunity to carry out their thesis work there within the framework of the Erasmus+ project, under Prof. Mondin’s guidance.
