Across the globe, #RefugeeProtection is shifting away from shared norms and values – and increasingly driven by political deals.   That was one of the findings from our recent High-level Panel on Refugee Protection. ⚡️ All experts emphasized a widening gap: between the principles the international community once agreed upon – and the growing reality of restrictive policies and deterrence seen in many countries today. For us, one thing is clear: This cannot be a sustainable answer to an issue that fundamentally concerns #HumanDignity. 🤝 Solutions that benefit refugees and host communities alike already exist.
