The Smith School's renowned finance department is paying it forward, with service to the State of Maryland through important life-changing experiential learning projects that are paving the way for great careers for our students. The business school is also fueling the future of behavioral finance, thanks to a generous gift from the late H. Kent Baker, MBA ’69, DBA ’72, M.Ed. ’74. The gift makes the the H. Kent Baker Center for Behavioral Finance possible, focusing on how people arrive at their financial decisions.
