The Smith family’s legacy at Maryland continues. A new $10 million gift from David Bruce Smith, on behalf of the Robert H. and Clarice R. Smith Family Foundation, will strengthen business education and the performing arts at the University of Maryland. The gift establishes new faculty positions at the Smith School focused on business leadership, innovation, technology and societal impact, while also enhancing productions and programming at The Clarice. Together, these investments will empower future leaders, support groundbreaking research and expand creative opportunities for generations of Terps to come.
