Is AI really coming for your job? Not so fast. At the New York Fed Innovation Conference, Smith School finance professor Tania Babina challenged one of today's biggest AI fears: that it's eliminating jobs on a massive scale. After reviewing AI labor market research from around the world, Babina says there's no systematic evidence that AI is broadly taking jobs. Instead, she argues the bigger risk is letting fear keep people from learning how to use AI to become more productive.
