We have the UTU train running NOP 1-3 (cleethorpes scunthorpe immingham) this evening, and I wanted to give a massive shout out to Mark, Terry (on nights), Paddy and John (might be on nights) and teams from Barnetby DU, who work tirelessly in the most difficult conditions keeping the track in as good a condition as is possible by driving the PLPR and reducing BVI. They are our absolute real deal front line hero’s - 20% of the UK freight passes over this infrastructure every day! - You have made me so welcome having worked within their team pretty much full time since Aug. #maximum respect Matt Rice Richard Owens George Drum Toby Patrick-Bailey.
