1/2 [[ Read my next post for a #FunFact never-before-told anecdote about one of our earliest wartime experiences from the #GlobalWarOnTerror. ]] Let’s be honest, winding down the first full quarter of 2020: Does March 31 look like you planned it on January 1? #Adaptability is one of the most highly cherished traits for a #SEAL. Why? In our line of work, NO-THING will be exactly the same at the end of the mission as in the initial planning. I should know — I was always “The Intel Guy“ involved in all of my platoon’s intel collection and mission planning. “No plan survives first contact.” - Early Prussian military adage “Plans are worthless, but planning is everything.” - Eisenhower So if you want to make God laugh, tell Him your plans. But if you want to make yourself laugh, last, make sure you do all your planning and due diligence and maintain healthy relationships to the best of your ability. Because although you cannot prepare prepare for everything, you can prepare yourself for *anything*. That’s what I do for clients at @ImpactActual. Let me know if you want some help with this. @ImpactActual #HighImpactMindset #NavySEALs #Mission #Planning #Execution #Purpose #Meaning #Service #Sacrifice
