Police out of controle .. a disgrace for Politie Nederland. The Dutch police attacked a heavily pregnant woman married to Wesam Mekdad, a Palestinian refugee from Gaza. Reports from sources like Al Jazeera indicate that 30-year-old Palestinian refugee Wesam Mekdad became distressed and angry after receiving news about the death of a family member in Gaza. : Organizations such Plant an Olive Tree and various news channels report that the German woman gave birth (prematurely) a few days after the incident. The baby, a girl named Reem, has since been born and is doing well under the circumstances. This incident follows a recent call by Dutch Member of Parliament Gidi Markuszower to stop Palestinian refugees at the border with violence. It seems that some of the Dutch police have taken this call very literally. Markuszower was born in Israel and still have very tight ties. The Netherlands has a very poor human rights record, also because it is one of the few countries that has not yet recognized Palestine and continues to cooperate with Israel, the perpetrator of the genocide.
