I'm spending a lot of time thinking about how to nurture human creativity and collaboration. That, predictably, has me looking at creativity and collaboration slime molds, sourdough starters and, of course, chimpanzees. It also led me to the story of a Prussian field station established, in of all places, Tenerife. At that station, Wolfgang Koehler studied the creativity of chimpanzees.
