Among Ferrari's 349-production F50 programme, only four examples were delivered new in Nero, creating one of the most sought-after specifications in the model's history. Chassis 106715 presents an intriguing interpretation of that rarity. Delivered new to Japan via Cornes in Tokyo and later imported to the United Kingdom, the car received Ferrari Classiche certification in 2016, confirming retention of its original chassis, engine, gearbox, and bodywork. Shortly thereafter, it was refinished in Nero by Carrozzeria Zanasi, the same company responsible for painting Ferrari's contemporary Tailor Made commissions. The transformation highlights the enduring strength of the F50's design. Often celebrated as one of the purest expressions of Ferrari engineering, the model combined Formula 1-derived technology, a naturally aspirated V12, and uncompromising driver engagement in a package that remains highly influential nearly three decades later. With documented provenance, continuous specialist maintenance, and a specification that stands apart from virtually every other example, chassis 106715 demonstrates how originality, craftsmanship, and thoughtful stewardship continue to shape collector demand at the highest levels of the market.
