Not all Porsche 356s are created equal. One of reportedly just 29 Porsche 356 B Carrera 1600 GS/GT Coupés built, this rare four-cam Carrera was factory-equipped with the Type 692/3 engine derived directly from the marque's legendary 550 Spyder. Delivered new via Max Hoffman in New York, the car returned to Germany in 1994 and has remained with the consigning owner ever since. Finished in its factory colour combination of Silver Metallic over Black, it benefits from a rebuilt correct-type four-cam engine and a recent mechanical refresh by Porsche specialist Classic Power. Among the rarest and most competition-focused variants of the 356, the Carrera 1600 GS/GT remains one of the most significant road-going Porsches of its era.
