One of just three 6.0-litre Hammer Coupés built by AMG North America, the Galdi Coupé is widely regarded as one of the finest surviving examples of the model that propelled AMG onto the world stage. Uniquely, it is the only example fitted with Westmont’s signature moulded ducktail spoiler. Delivered new to financier Joseph C. Galdi II in 1988, the car later starred in Exotic Cars Quarterly's famous road test with IMSA legend Steve Millen behind the wheel. Retaining its original AMG 32-valve V8, documented history from new, and over $160,000 of specialist recommissioning by renowned AMG expert Jonathan Hodgman, it stands today as a benchmark example of one of the most important performance cars of the 1980s.
