If its hard, I have to do it.
Do you know those days, where so many things happen simultaneously that at the end, when you are lying in bed, the head is spinning and you go: "What the hell just happened? This was completely crazy, but also amazing!" This happened to me, not for one day but for the past 4 months straight, peaking last Friday when we revealed to the world, what we have quitely been building at Stellar Alpina. We had the honour of sharing the past, present and future of the company with over 250 people in attendance here at Switzerland Innovation Park Zurich. In the first 100 days we went from designing, building, and comissioning our first test stand, designing and manufacturing our first propritary engine prototype all the way to successfully hotfiring it, completing the entire first firing campaign and raising a 3.5Mio CHF pre-seed round with our dear partner Alex Stöckl from Founderful. I think it's fair to say, we moved dizzily fast, or in the words of Stefan Brupbacher, the CEO of Swissmem, : "at warp-speed". However, the past achievments are exactly that: in the past. So, I was most excited about sharing our plans for the next 100 weeks. Building a new test-stand for the long-term future of the company, developing our first flight engine and having it in orbit by 2028, just to name a few. Goals that we will pursue with the same determination and speed as we've showed so far. The real journey starts now and the true challenges are still ahead, especially as our vision goes beyond those plans as it encompasses the next 100 months. But for now, it is about executing the next 100 weeks so we can setup our true vision solidly. I'm extremely excited for the journey ahead and truly grateful to be able to share it with such amazing Co-Founders Patrick Egli Simi Wespi Victor Elliesen, and the entire team.
