Not only did I finish my second degree (Bachelor of Clinical and Medical practice) with a bang but also as a School of Medicine Prize for Best Academic Achievement in the final year, Best Performance in Pharmacology, and lastly, Best Performance in Infectious and Chronic Diseases award recipient!!!! All the stressful study nights and test weeks came down to this. These are not just awards on a piece of paper to me, they are evidence of my hard work and determination. A reminder that no matter how difficult or impossible it may look, if your heart is in it, then it is most certainly achievable.
