I'm thankful for Amanda Figueroa and DJ Crisostomo's visit to our Financial and Mathematical Foundation class today. Our students had the opportunity to learn about the two fantastic student programs they oversee: the First Gen and Financial Wellness programs at the UW Tacoma campus. A common takeaway from our students today was, "I did not know that I could receive a stipend while learning about best practices in personal finance." I'm impressed by the substantial growth of their cohorts and the positive impact these programs have on our students' lives. Thank you, Amanda and DJ! #uwt #personalfinance #financialliteracy #uw
