United Airlines has been a transformational partner for Rise Against Hunger since 2017. Through meal packaging, donated air miles and more, United Airlines has helped advance our mission of helping underserved people worldwide achieve food security and resilience. At the end of March, United journeyed to the Philippines to witness our collective impact firsthand! Accompanied by Rise Against Hunger staff and local partners, 10 employees from six United airport hubs and corporate headquarters met children and families served by programs that United’s support makes possible. From serving meals at the Better World Tondo food bank, visiting the Kain Tayo Mobile Kitchen that distributes food to people throughout Manila and going to schools and agriculture projects in Bicol, the team saw how the partnership is expanding access to nutrition and opportunity.
