Felix Assion, Investment Manager at HTGF | High-Tech Gründerfonds, announced that Bielefeld-based EdTech startup paddy has raised €1M in pre-seed funding, led by HTGF and joined by angel investors. Founded in 2024 by Matty Frommann, Lukas Portmann, and Tobias Schröder, later joined by CTO Lukas Kaufmann, paddy is an AI-native platform that helps teachers plan lessons, create tailored materials, and deliver personalised student support. Six months post-launch, it already serves 12,000+ teachers across the DACH region.
