Lead Forensics Sports Day: The Officially Unofficial Champions š By all known standards of athletic excellence⦠we won. By one very specific interpretation of the space hopper rulebook⦠we were ādisqualifiedā. Iāll let the governing body explain that one, a ruling so controversial itās already being compared to VAR on its worst day. We respect the decision. We just fundamentally disagree with it on every possible level. Weāre confident history will vindicate us. That said, some things remain undisputed: ā Tug of War champions (still unbeaten and always will be) ā A trophy attained for a colleague weāll always respect ā Sales team performing like the All Blacks⦠perhaps slightly less coordinated We had the privilege of winning a new trophy dedicated to a lost colleague ā a competition weāve never lost since day one. And that one means more than any leader board position. As for the sales team⦠Letās just say if the All Blacks ever need a tug of war unit, weāre available. Big lads, big noise, questionable techniques, but relentless. No haka⦠yet. Lewis Hatt Daniel Lynch Nicholas Jansen Henry Vaughan Special mention to our very own muscly marine Tom Marsh part Swiss Army knife, part commando, a man who turned up elite at every event⦠and possesses a spin move that genuinely defies physics. Not a turn. Not a pivot. A full, rapid, on-the-spot rotation like heās been unleashed by NASA to test gravitational limits. Blink and you miss it. Look directly at it and you still donāt fully understand it. Rumour has it one judge called it āunnaturalā⦠which, coincidentally, is the same feedback we got on the space hopper race. Turns out being built for pressure, resilience, and collective effort translates surprisingly well outside of QBRs. Weāll be back next year. Stronger. Hungrier. And with a slightly improved relationship with space hoppers and maybe a legal team. Until then⦠weāll take our unofficial gold medal. Justice pending. #SalesTeam #Culture #Competition #LeadForensics #AllBlacksEnergy
