I’m honoured to have been voted Best Overall Presentation at the Schulich School of Engineering, University of Calgary Undergraduate Research Program Symposium! This summer, I explored an emerging area in AI development, analyzing developer pain points when working with agentic frameworks—a powerful approach for building AI systems capable of planning, reasoning, and executing tasks. Through this project, I developed strong software skills in data extraction, working with super computers, performing data preprocessing, applying topic modeling, and communicating findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. A huge thank you to Dr. Ahmad Abdellatif for his mentorship, guidance, and for giving me the opportunity to conduct this research. I’m also grateful to John Pangas for his continued support throughout the project. This has been an incredible opportunity to push my technical skills, explore new ideas, and grow as a researcher.
