🍅 Food markets are the backdrop of everyday life for women and children alike. 📍 Since March, the Kungahara project has invested in improving the infrastructure of two local markets, adding childcare rooms, accessible infrastructure, and governance structures giving women traders a formal say in how their markets are run. 🥕 14 facilities have been built or upgraded across Musanze and Nyabihu districts. 👉 This is part of the EU-funded Kungahara project, implemented by Rikolto, ADECOR, and Kilimo Trust. https://lnkd.in/edqS7zKj Having these spaces safe and accessible for children and their parents can be part of a lasting memory.
